There’s a great choice for fabricators and installers at The FIT Show as a whole bunch of aluminium systems companies and fabricators show their wares.
Although many exhibitors prefer to announce their final exhibits just before or even at the event itself, there are a number of companies who will offer aluminium products and systems at The FIT Show in April. Visitors looking specifically for such products can visit in the knowledge that they will have plenty to talk about.
Two leading names in the aluminium systems sector with substantial stands at the event, Senior Architectural Systems and Kaye Building Systems, both of which serve a national base of customers.
Senior Architectural Systems is launching a new service for fabricators at The FIT Show. Designed to attract the smaller to medium sized Home Improvement Installers in the UK, a range of Hybrid doors, including sliding folding arrangements, can be purchased made to measure and ready for installation.
‘Homes by Senior’ promotes the company’s award winning Hybrid Timber Aluminium Composite Range of Systems into the Home Improvement sector. Equally at home in commercial or residential applications, Hybrid’s high quality profiles are available from stock in the UK which allows fabricators to manufacture all Hybrid systems, including curtain walling for the more creative ‘Grand Design’ Home Improvements.
Fabricated doors will be available locally, supplied by an existing and experienced Hybrid fabricator. With seven standard powder coated external finishes and three options of internal timber finishes, all of which are all ex stock, fabrication and delivery can be counted in days rather than in weeks.
Steve Wightman, the company’s sales and marketing director says Senior Architectural is looking forward to The FIT Show: “We expect it to be very busy. We are very impressed with the marketing leading up to the show and believe this is just what is needed in the UK at this time.”
Doncaster based Kaye Building Systems Ltd is located in Hall 4 of The FIT Show. The company offers an innovative and fully integrated range of façade products, comprising curtain walling, doors windows and low rise glazing systems. The word is that the company will also introduce a range of bi folding doors that will greatly extend what already promises to be a huge choice for visitors looking for bifolds.
Kaye is part of the worldwide Exlabesa Group, which produces a huge range of aluminium extrusions on site at the company’s Doncaster site. Here the company offers a comprehensive range of services that includes design, extrusion, thermal improvements, painting and anodising. Production on-site allows excellent production versatility, says the company’s General Manager Derek Hodgson, with the benefit to its customers of reduced stockholding as orders may be manufactured quickly to order: “Our products are manufactured on site and our capacity allows us to offer an excellent turnaround on any order. If we don’t stock it we make it quickly, such is the flexibility of our extrusion facility.” Products include sliding doors, ground floor treatments, curtain walling profiles and a range of matched hardware is also available.
“The FIT Show offers Kaye Building Systems an ideal opportunity to present the Kaye brand to fabricators and installers for the first time,” said Derek, “as well as introducing some exciting new products that will provide an excellent alternative in the market.”
Other exhibitors known to offer aluminium products and systems include: Mayfayre, with a range of bifolding doors, residential and commercial doors and windows; Customade Group which offers an upmarket range of aluminium with minimal sightlines; CWG Choices which offers a range of trade windows in aluminium and PVC-U; Debar, a specialist supplier of locks and handles mainly for aluminium bifold doors and aluminium windows; KAT UK is a trade fabricator with a huge portfolio of products manufactured in aluminium as well as PVC-U and timber.
Unique Window Systems is another comprehensive manufacture of both commercial and domestic glazing systems and products, using aluminium and PVC-U, offering bifolding doors as part of its very large portfolio of products. Legacy Windows and Total Glass also ensure there is a huge selection of trade fabricators widening the choice for installers looking for professional and efficient suppliers of glazing products and doors in aluminium and PVC-U.
“I believe this is the most comprehensive exhibition of aluminium window and door systems and products manufacturers to assemble for years,” said Matthew Glover for The FIT Show. We hoped for a good turnout and after a slow start there is now a great choice. We expect more specific information from all of them nearer the show and most will be showing their products for the first time at a UK B2B event.”
The FIT Show will take place at The Telford International Centre, Telford, on 16th, 17th and 18th April 2013. For more information including full details on how to exhibit and to register for tickets please go to www.fitshow.co.uk.
