GQA qualifications joined MyTradeTVover 6 months ago and we have worked with the team closely and together we are promoting the importance of qualifications and amongst other things MTC’s within the industry.
After a successful first 6 months GQA qualifications and Mick Clayton decided to sponsor the Channel for the next 12 months, they will be joining our founding sponsors The Glass and Glazing Federation and conservatory systems company Ultraframe who are also involved in our new innovative way to reach the trade.
Lee Clarke, Managing Director for MyTradeTV commented ” We are delighted to welcome the GQA qualification team to the new sponsorship on our glazing channel. We only have 3 main sponsorships for each channel and we wanted to work with companies who are dedicated to help the growth of the industry and GQA most certainly fit that profile. GQA qualifications have so much to say and are working hard to help the industry and we hope to help them achieve this for 2013 and beyond.”
MyTradeTV is now in the second year and also boasts industry leading names such as Guardian Industries UK, Masterframe, Quotatis, Glyngary, Ultraframe, The GGF and many more, they also host a Locksmith channel with the likes of Advanced Keys and the Master Locksmith Association involved. Plans are nearing completion for the 3rd trade channel in construction and we are told there may be at least another 2 channels before the end of the year taking the total to 5.
MyTradeTV were invited to The Fit Show to work on the GQA Qualifications stand and they had a pleasurable few days working with the entire team and some of the supporting centres. In the next few weeks we will be having podcasts from some of the finalists from the Master Fitter competition, some video footage from the show and also some pictures of the action.
Lee Clarke went on to add ” we are delighted that so many big industry names believed in our site and the the way we are trying to innovate, the way tradespeople now research and buy products is changing and after talking to many companies at the Fit Show we are seeing more and more companies looking for new ways to reach potential clients.”
“We are the only media company in this trade that offers full interactive services with options such as Podcasting and Video, we also are the first to incorporate video and podcast on our interactive versions of magazines. We are daring to be different in trades where traditional press is ingrained but we believe that although traditional media still holds a place within industry,if you do not move quickly to catch the changing trends of how customers find trade information that many companies risk being left behind. Because of the way people access information in such a quick way (Tablet’s, IPAD, I Phone and Smartphones) companies are having to think outside the box, we have seen over the past few months one of the UK’s favourite newspapers (The Guardian) digital version surpass print! we have already received testimonials from clients using our services telling us how it increased awareness and response.”
With a growing audience MyTradeTV offer a very unique way to get information to potential clients and because it is online media accurate stats can be collated to monitor response.
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor in the construction channel we can supply more details and there is now a waiting list for sponsorship on the Glazing Channel and only one sponsorship left on the Locksmith channel.
