Take yourself back to your very first day in business.
What were you seeing, hearing and feeling?
What was your level of passion for what you did on a scale of 1-10?
What did you absolutely know and want to achieve?
Now, let me ask you this – What are the answers to these questions, today?
If business is booming, my guess is the answers are very similar – I’d even say, better!
If however, you know deep down, things could be better – is there a possibility you’ve lost sight of your reason(s), enthusiasm and vision for starting your venture in the first place?
When something is new – it’s exciting, exhilarating and it’s rife with opportunity.
When something has ‘worn in’ – it can become stressful, unfocused and dare I even say it…boring!
The businesses that succeed, especially in today’s era, are those who treat their business like their first day of opening, every single day.
Their passion levels are at a 10.
They see, hear and feel only a positive expectations.
They know exactly what they want to achieve and why.
They value their customers, and thus – themselves at the peak of brilliance.
As a result, they almost ‘magnetically’ draw the right business opportunities to them.
Sometimes, others call these people – “lucky”.
But does luck, ‘happen’, or are WE responsible for how our business looks sounds and feels to ourselves and to others?
We can change our luck by focusing on the importance of our attitude, the clarity of our vision and in taking action on what’s truly important to us/our business/our customers.
Put yourself in your customers shoes:
Would you happily give your business to the passionate, enthusiastic and service driven entrepreneur?
Would you rather do business with the aggravated, tired and unhelpful business owner?
Treat every day like your very first day, and watch the magic happen!
If your passion for your business is lacking – Do one thing today…
Align today’s answers with the answers you gave at the very start of this blog.
And then, implement them! Go out there and show your customers who’s the best person to do business with. Incase you’re wondering who that person is…that person is YOU!
