Bradford based bi-folding door hardware specialist, Debar is pleased to announce the appointments of Phil Snowden, as Technical Manager and Stephen Mudd as Office Sales Manager.
Phil and Stephen, who joined Debar on the same day, bring with them a wealth of understanding for developing commercial practices, scoping detailed technical projects and improving levels of customer service.
Graham Fawthrop, managing director for Debar commented, “The new appointments are vital to the success of Debar’s range of locks and handles. We have seen our business expand rapidly since the start of trading in 2011 and needed the extra resource in place to improve our current structure and further develop and improve our products and services”.
Debar offer a range of innovative ideas, adding additional locking facility for bi-folding doors. Their simple-to-install solution includes a range of robust handles, versatile shootbolts, stylish hinges and magnetic catches to complement the functionality of the bi-folding system.
Phil Snowden, Debar’s new technical manager added “When Graham approached me to join the team at Debar, I jumped at the opportunity. Having spent the last 40 year in the fenestration industry I’m thrilled to be in a position which allows me to utilise all aspect of my operational and commercial expertise”.
Phil’s role will encompass all future development of new products for Debar, along with improving the company’s quality control process.
Stephen Mudd, takes up his new role as Sales Office Manager, after spending 6 years with Wakefield based folding door manufacturer, Solarlux. He is now responsible for the day-to-day office management, maintenance of current internal sales systems and the implementation and improvement of Debar’s customer relations.
