As a major supplier to the window and conservatory industry, Synseal Extrusions takes its responsibilities seriously and ensures that its customers have all the support they need to specify, build, and install its products.
To this end, Synseal has published a detailed technical brochure for its market leading Global conservatory roof that will sit alongside the similar brochures in its recently launched technical folder, which is designed specifically for commercial specifiers and housebuilders.
“For the last two years Synseal has pushed beyond the boundaries of PVC-U extruder, and become an indispensable supplier and business partner to a growing customer base,” says Mark Schlotel, Synseal’s Head of Marketing. “As part of that relationship we have published a folder containing detailed information on all of our products so that they can be accessed easily, and used as a specification and project design tool.”
The new ring-bound technical folder contains comprehensive yet concise information on every one of Synseal’s product ranges – which is provided by individual technical brochures – so the folder’s contents can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
Explaining why it’s the most popular roof in the UK today, the Global conservatory roof technical brochure is crammed with factual information. It begins by explaining how façade-testing specialists Wintech Engineering proved that a standard Georgian conservatory with a Global roof could withstand the most extreme weather conditions.
For example, the Global roof can handle snow loads of 120kg per square metre (the equivalent of 1.3m of snow), which meets BBA requirements. Further testing found that the conservatory could withstand more than twice this limit. Tests also prove that the conservatory could withstand wind speeds of up to 160 miles per hour, which is the equivalent of a Force 17 hurricane.
The brochure then goes through some of the compelling design features, such as the single-bolt fitting system, aluminium top caps, high strength rafters, insulated box gutters, and the choice of three alternative ridge details.
“Global conservatory roof is more than the sum of its parts,” Schlotel explains. “This technical brochure brings all these elements together in an easy-to-read format, along with available high performance roof glass options and footprint design styles.”
In closing, he adds, “This technical brochure will help our customers to present Synseal products in a professional and appropriate manner, while allowing them to specify our products in the context of the whole design and build.”
