The Realise Foundation is a member of the Aspire Group that is known for providing affordable social housing across North Staffordshire.
As part of its policy, the Realise Foundation was established with the goal of helping those with a disadvantaged background to get into employment, be it through training, work experience or providing financial aid to allow the candidate to buy suitable clothes for work.
Since the launch of the charity in 2010, Realise have provided grants for over 225 apprentices and helped over 2,500 individuals into work.
Trade fabricator, Lister Trade Frames, believed it could see the link between the charity and how it operates. That decision has resulted in Lister’s becoming a Platinum Partner of the charity, offering support and fundraising.
“We’re delighted that Lister’s has decided to join us as Platinum Partners, explained George Davies, Head of Procurement, Aspire Housing and charity co-ordinator, Realise. “Its business reputation and work ethic of supporting the local community, fit wonderfully with our aims and goals. We’re sure that with Lister’s on board, we’ll be able to spread the news of the work that we do to a larger audience.”
