2014 looks set to be an exciting year for the National Fenestration Awards as it looks to build on a positive start in the previous year.
The industry’s newest and most inclusive awards kicked off in early February with the Social Networker 2014 category the first to go live. Since then, every Monday has seen a new category being made live, and will continue that way until all categories are live and ready to receive nominations.
The National Fenestration Awards presents the industry with the most inclusive and unbiased awards to date. Based on nominations and votes from all people within all sectors of fenestration, the eventual winners are decided completely by the opinion of the industry. There are no judging panels and no interference from the NFA team.
Taking part is simple: people can simply register themselves on the National Fenestration Awards website, click a link in the confirmation email sent and then they are free to nominate. Or, they can upload to the NFA Cool Wall competitions that run alongside the main awards.
The response to the NFAs last year was overwhelmingly positive. As with anything new, it is difficult to start such a new concept around others that have been well established. But it’s unbiased and all-inclusive ethics and solid principles seems to be winning the industry over. There are now more categories this year than in 2013, spanning more of the industry. There are also plans to host an event in January 2015 to announce the winners of the 2014 competition.
As with all new projects, the National Fenestration Awards is on the lookout for sponsors to help the project grow. Sponsorship of the NFAs will allow for a fantastic new event in a great location that will be affordable for all, on a day that won’t interfere with the working week. It will allow it to become one of the main events in the UK fenestration calendar. And it will allow it to become the best way to show off the best elements of our great industry. For anyone that is interested, please log on to www.fenestrationawards.co.uk to find out more, or email the team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We encourage everyone who works in the UK fenestration industry at all levels to take part. These are your awards and you decide who wins!
