PIGS, the networking group for people in glazing, comes to town. The next event has been booked for 25 September at the Slug and Lettuce, Lisle Street, just off Leicester Square in London.
Free to attend, sponsorship for PIGS comes from generous donations from companies. One regular sponsor Gareth Mobley, managing director from Solidor Group explains: “We have sponsored pigs again because we believe that it is an essential industry event where people from our industry can come together in a relaxed atmosphere and talk openly.”
We would like to thank all the PIGS sponsors:
Emplas Window Systems
Glass and Glazing Products
Yale Door and Window Systems
and Balls2 Marketing
Anyone working or affiliated to the glazing industry is welcome. FREE tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/pigs-people-in-glazing-tickets-11882618231?aff=es2
PIGS kicks off at 5pm and goes on until late. Sponsors money goes behind the bar to provide free drinks to get the party started.
PIGS was founded 10 years ago and has been very successfully run by Claire Shilling from One Shilling Marketing. Claire has handed the organisational baton over to Andy and Sarah Ball at Balls2 Marketing after working together on the highly successful PIGS in Birmingham after the Triple Glazing Question in April.
“We would like to thank Claire for doing an amazing job for the last 10 years,” says Sarah Ball. “We have seen the value of PIGS to the industry and supported it since the start. We have already created Social PIGS with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to keep connected between events. We are looking forward to the next event in London and it looks like there’s already a lot of interest in having a Manchester PIGS in the New Year.”
