Prospect data supplier Windowbase is growing its team in response to demand, with the appointment of Kathleen Hanbury.
Windowbase is the longest established supplier of glazing industry prospect data in the UK, targeting fabricators and installers involved in windows, doors, conservatories and curtain walling. Continuous research for almost 25 years means Windowbase has the UK’s most comprehensive and reliable database of companies in the industry.
“We provide companies of all shapes and sizes with the means to create their own cost-effective sales leads, helping them find new customers and grow sales,” explains Windowbase Database Manager Neil Parsonson. “Our data is used for direct mail and email, telesales, market research and more. Kathleen has joined us to strengthen both our interviewing and data checking departments. No record is added to Windowbase until it has been fully interviewed, after which we call back on a regular basis to check for changes.”
Neil continues: “Unlike other database companies, our interviewers work from blank questionnaires each time, so they are genuinely researching the market rather than simply asking companies to confirm existing details. The data checking department updates Windowbase with the newly collected information and investigates more significant changes, to ensure they are correct.”
Kathleen came to Windowbase from the banking industry. She worked for Halifax before spending eight years with the Santander group but has also volunteered in the UK and Bulgaria. “Kathleen’s communication and people skills are excellent, and her background in banking is ideal as she’s used to asking detailed and probing questions, as well as recognising the need for accuracy,” adds Neil.
