Ultraframe loses Commercial Director to the Performance Timber Products Group
Joe Martoccia joins the Performance Timber Products Group (PTPG) as is Chief Executive Officer. His appointment takes effect from 15 December 2014.
Founder of the Group, Roy Wakeman, will remain with PTPG as Chairman. He commented: “The search for a new CEO has been a long process and I am confident that Joe Martoccia is the right candidate to take PTPG forwards and continue developing the successful growth strategy of this £20 million plus business. We are all looking forward to working with him.”
Joe Martoccia joined Ultraframe in November 2011 as Commercial Director and established himself quickly as a ‘hands-on’ character within the conservatory systems sector. At the time of going to press, his Twitter and Linked-in accounts give no indication about his new position.
PTPG was established by Roy Wakeman in 2006 with the acquisition of Mumford & Wood. Revenue at that time was approaching £6 million. Since then the management team has developed the business through organic growth and also through the acquisitions of Timber Windows in 2009 followed by Dale Windows in 2010.
