The Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) Aldermaston, is the home of the UK’s nuclear deterrent, building, maintaining and decommissioning Trident submarine warheads, providing solutions to national nuclear security and supporting the Continuous At Sea Deterrence (CASD).
The prestigious contract at the UK’s atomic weapons establishment followed stringent security and other pre-qualification processes.
Wrightstyle also secured the contract at the facility’s Technology Development Centre as an approved Schüco-Jansen fabricator and an approved Schüco Approved Fire Expert (SAFE), which allows the company to offer ‘comprehensive’ steel and aluminium advanced systems to combat a variety of threats.
“The AWE is a site of national importance and this contract underlines our reputation for product and system excellence, as well as the trust that our worldwide customers place in us,” explained Tim Kempster, Wrightstyle managing director.
