Over 1,150 companies from approximately 50 countries will be showing the latest for what remains the biggest exhibition in the world for glass and glass processing
The event is held in Düsseldorf, Germany and there is still time remaining to get along and see what is on offer.
The organisers have gone out their way to make it as user friendly to arrange visits. To gain an overview of the trade fair’s innovations before its opening, the Trendcompass at www.glasstec-online.com has been online since the beginning of September, showing the way to the exhibitors’ innovations. It lists and bundles innovations in various thematic fields.
These trend categories are Optimisation of process and product quality in glass manufacturing, Innovative technologies for thin glass production, Innovative and smart glass for architecture, interiors and vehicles, Technical glass and special glass types as well as innovative thin glass (including fibre optic applications), New products for processing in the glazier trade, and Recycling of glass composites.
The glasstec website again features the Industry Guide with target group-specific overviews of the entire range of products shown by glasstec exhibitors and the issues addressed in the supporting programmes for the core target groups.
The supporting programme presented at glasstec 2014 for these target groups consists of the special themes, e.g. Glass Technology Live. The glasstec conference programme includes the Architecture Congress, the scientific conference on engineered transparency and the Solar meets Glass conference.
Using the online content consisting of Trendcompass and Industry Guide in combination with the exhibitor database featured under “Companies and Products” and the additional services offered on the website, a comprehensive and targeted preparation is possible for your visit of glasstec 2014.
