Mul-T-Lock®’s New Visual Deterrent For Van Security

Mul-T-Lock® has launched a new ultra high security solution to present van drivers with the latest innovation in security locking technology to combat the constantly increasing thefts from their vehicles.

Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock® is a unique lock design, available to bolt onto the surface of any van side or rear door and act as a significant visual deterrent to the opportunist thief.

Designed to be professionally installed, and supplied with secure fixings,

Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock® is an all in one non-corrosive lock body solution that offers no hanging parts that could damage the paintwork around the lock. The unique angled lock body of Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock® has been carefully created to deflect blows from a hammer and together with the steel locking bolt adds extra protection for the doors.

Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock® is all-encompassing and easy to use, with the physical lock mechanism located within the body of the system so that users do not have to compromise security by removing portable security solutions such as padlocks, whilst packing or removing stock from the van. With the key removed, users simply need to press the cylinder button to relock the devise once the doors are closed.

Says Steve Ross, Managing Director of Mul-T-Lock®: “A van is most vulnerable when left unlocked outside buildings where owners are working, even if they are in an out of their work van all day.  Equally a van is at risk when a driver drops off a delivery, or fills up with fuel, leaving the vehicle unlocked, with a padlock having to be stored ‘somewhere’ even for just a few minutes.  In these cases, if an opportunist thief were to strike, insurance claims are likely to be declined.

“The launch of Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock®, a solution that can be fitted to almost all van types in the UK, provides locksmiths with a chance to present an all inclusive true innovation in modern vehicle security lock design.  As well as being a visual deterrent, the clever inter-locking design of the two body parts become one and add an additional layer of protection from manipulation via forced separation.“

Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock® is offered with a Mul-T-Lock®’ high performance locking mechanism which has years of proven reliable service within the automotive security arena.

Locks are supplied with their own keys or can be keyed alike to operate all locks on a van. For fleet operators, the locks can be master keyed with each van having its own key, yet fleet managers having a key which can open a batch of vehicles or all vehicles if desired.

Steve concluded: “The extra security for the van doors provided by Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock® offers peace of mind to the owner and ultimate protection for the vehicle and its assets.

“Ultimately, Mul-T-Lock® ArmaDlock® is a unique locking solution that has been designed specifically for vans; from the built in keyway protection within the cylinder mechanism to prevent ingress from road emissions and the elements to the nylon body gasket to prevent damage to the body being caused once installed; this is the right security solution for today’s van owners.”
