Premier Industries had a VIP to officially open its new purpose built business park in Quainton Buckinghamshire
The ceremony was carried out by Jon Bercow MP for Buckingham and Commons Speaker last month.
Over 150 suppliers, customers and villagers attended the event.
The Business Park has in excess of 25,000ft2 of purpose built floor space over four buildings to accommodate the Premier Industries Manufacturing Group. The group comprises seven manufacturing businesses, covering plastic injection moulding, moulding machinery sales, architectural joinery, metal fabrications and retail security products.
Mr Bercow was given a tour of the new buildings and met with clients, suppliers and staff, taking a particular interest in the three apprentices in attendance.
The group has grown up in the village of Quainton over the last 16 years and now has all the group companies on one purpose built site at Ladymead Business Park. The group employs 27 directly and seven indirectly as subcontractors, of which one third are from the village, and turns over in the region of £5 million a year as a group.
“We are delighted with the new Business Park, said Patrick Green, Director, Premier Industries. “It has been a long 15 months through the build and move but what we have now is simply stunning and a great base for us to expand the business.”
