Thankfully though since my family bought the company in 2012 this has changed and now we’re making news for all the right reasons.”
In the three years since the Jain’s bought Avocet out of administration they have invested £10.6million as they strive to once again make the firm a force to be reckoned with.

Avocet now has stock levels that enable it to provide next day delivery on orders placed before 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (3.30pm on Fridays); has a network of has a network of 105 Elite distribution centres across the UK; is winning back a significant number of national accounts; and has seen staff numbers rise to their highest level since 2011.
“It’s been an incredible three years and we are geared up to carry on growing,” added Rythm. “We have plans to create 20 new warehouse jobs before the end of the year and have a whole host of new products to launch during the same time. Hopefully these developments will mean we’ll be back next year to pick up the same award.”
