Presentations on ErP labelling and the next big thing in gas heating; popular new Vitodens 050-W also on display
Viessmann will exhibit and speak at this year’s Heating & Renewables Roadshow when the regional event for heating and renewable energy professionals tours the UK throughout September.
Keen to engage with installers and industry influencers on the most front-of-mind topics, Viessmann experts will present a seminar outlining the new ErP (Energy-related Products) labelling obligations, just as they become mandatory, including details of easy calculation tools the heating systems manufacturer has developed.
Viessmann will also present its gas adsorption heat pump, Vitosorp, making the case for a futuristic technology that could be available today, which combines the advantages of heating with the use of free environmental heat, saving 25 percent on heating bills.
Stars of the Vitodens range of boilers, along with a Vitocal 242-G ground source heat pump and a Vitosol 200-T solar thermal tube display will make the journey to Coventry (10th), Exeter (15th), Farnborough (17th), Edinburgh (22nd) and Manchester (24th).
Among the exhibits is the newest addition to Viessmann’s gas-fired boiler range, the compact, easy to maintain, Vitodens 050-W Combi, designed for the specification market and one-off installations. The attractively-priced unit makes ownership of a Viessmann boiler accessible to all and comes with a standard three year warranty, that can be extended to seven years by Viessmann Trained Installers
“We’re very happy to be back at the Heating & Renewables Roadshow in 2015, a package which provides us with a great opportunity to meet our installers face-to-face, close to where they are based,” says Viessmann marketing director, Darren McMahon. “Holding a seminar on the ErP Directive makes absolute sense given that it comes into play in September. Installers have some new responsibilities associated with the labelling of multi-technology systems and we want to help.”
