Once again the superior standards of the frameXpress range proved to be a winning formula for a long standing commercial customer. The company was contracted to supply a variety of pvc-u products from its portfolio in a new build rental project in the Midlands.
The award winning frameXpress customer won the contract to design and build a variety of houses and apartments for Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust, which included eleven houses and eleven apartments for the project worth around £1.6 million in total.
For commercial customers the frameXpress brand is synonymous with top quality performance products that can be relied upon. Sarah Price, Commercial Sales Manager attributes these factors along with the company’s ability to understand technical requirements as being main factors for growth in the sector.
On this particular project, casement windows and balcony doors were all manufactured in slate grey FS70mm system to meet the architect’s design specifications. frameXpress advised on style, product performance and colour matching for the overall finished appearance, with all composite front doors from the range sprayed to match the foil of the windows and balcony doors.
Holland Street is located in the quiet suburb of Sutton Coldfield and offers tenants modern, open plan living as well as easy access to shops and buses being a 2 minute walk from the town centre. The site includes retirement housing ranging from two bedroom apartments to spacious four bedroom family homes.
As with all projects like this, the brief came with the highest specifications throughout, as people continue to expect the best in thermal performance and security standards.
Sarah advised on all aspects of the build ensuring all details were covered to offer secure homes and peace of mind for the tenants.
Sarah comments, “The broader colour choice in the FS70mm system is making a striking difference to our customers’ profit margins. Tailoring projects to exact specification is part of the commitment we offer to customer satisfaction as was shown here. It is very rewarding to see that the portfolio and service we offer meets and exceeds the expectations of customers and architects.”
