Julie Holmes is the new Key Accounts Manager at Mila, working directly with nominated customers to help them get the most from Mila’s range of standard and bespoke hardware.
Julie’s role includes identifying opportunities for customers to target new business using Mila products, and liaising with Mila’s technical and product design teams to develop bespoke products and enhancements which could benefit these customers.
Already, Julie has been working with Senior Aluminium to deliver bespoke hardware for their new PURe system and has helped them to secure a year-long exclusivity from Mila on a new satin nickel hardware finish.
Working across the country, Julie is also responsible for tracking market and customer trends and communicating these to Mila so that it can be responsive to changing demand.
She is also targeting potential new business across the trade and retail sectors from customers who want to benefit from Mila’s award winning products and customer service.
Julie is committed to increasing efficiency and as such has become one of the first members of the Mila sales team to start using a new tablet based IT solution. As well as enabling her to have all the technical information she needs to hand, the tablet is also providing virtually instant, live stock updates and customer database information, and giving Julie a customer friendly way of delivering presentations.
Julie is already a familiar face to Mila customers in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire areas, having been the area sales manager there since 2013. She has been promoted to the Key Accounts Manager position in recognition of her success in this role and in line with Mila’s policy of recognising and rewarding talent.
