Stuga are a British manufacturer of automated sawing and machining centers for manufacturing uPVC window and door frames selling direct to the customer. The company not only designs and manufactures machinery but also has a substantial back-up facility to comfortably provide a secure service to all customers. Spare parts are supplied from stock with everything being built from standard readily available components. Stuga will show an operational rotary tooling system on their stand. A rotary tooling system is at the heart of every Stuga sawing & machining center creating excellent flexibility when accommodating the many varied window and door profiles experienced in this market place.
The top selling Stuga sawing & machining center is currently the ZX4 which is now up to the MK6 version. This long established center is the main workhorse at many of the UK’s top fabricators and each new version has moved technology forward. The ZX4 not only produces in the region of 800 to 1,000 internally glazed windows per standard week but it also has many excellent features built in to make for ease of operation. The u-shaped configuration of the ZX4 means when not running flat out one operator can easily operate it as loading and unloading are in close proximity to each other. ‘V’ and ‘Y’ notching operate on both sides of any profile simultaneously and notching is with conventional saw blades with milling operations involved. The ZX4 is too big for The FIT SHOW but Stuga staff will be available to discuss it.
