The high calibre standards of the Selecta Systems brand has once again been highlighted with the launch of a vibrant new colour range.
The Selecta Systems colour portfolio comes in 15 shades, giving 30 colour options, with two new additional wood foil finishes being introduced. Mountain Oak and the lighter Desert Oak bring a more modernised stain into the range, providing lighter wood effect options
to the existing Golden Oak, Irish Oak and Rosewood foils. Selecta are believed to be the first UK system house supplier to provide the two new woodgrain effect colours to their customer base.
Aesthetically, this Selecta range provides a more realistic wood effect that homeowners are now expecting when upgrading their properties. To ensure customers retain a competitive advantage, delivery timescales have been reduced with improved stocking levels.
Management at Selecta states that demand for coloured products has increased substantially recently, to the point where it was considered imperative to introduce Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) into the complete range of stocked colours.
Mark Walker, Marketing Manager comments, “In the commercial sector Anthracite Grey has been an increasingly popular option for architects and specifiers when developing projects. It has been noticeable however in the domestic market, particularly with new build properties, that homeowners are looking for colours to make a bold statement. For example, this year we have seen the purchase of Anthracite foil increase by 80%.”
A number of marketing tools have been introduced by the company as point of sale material, including a new colour swatch which is being sent out to all Selecta customers.
Additionally, a new website is under development that incorporates a colour visualisation section. Here, the entire Selecta Systems portfolio of profiles, windows, doors and composite doors will be available to view as 3D rendered images. These will provide realistic reflections of all colour shades available across the range.
Mark continues, “We have completely modernised the range to keep pace with end user demand. The new colours in our range now have a much more realistic wood effect look – they include notches and grains that are not produced in a regular repeat pattern. This needs to be reflected in our customer support literature and online corporate presentation to help customers when pitching for new business.
As technology becomes in an increasingly important part of sales and marketing, the website will allow customers and visitors to see every product in our range in any colour they would like to choose. Conversely, the swatches enable customers to demonstrate the quality, feel and look of the products in our range.”
Selecta is one of the UK’s leading extruders of PVC-U window and door systems, building plastics, and ancillaries, all of which have been developed over the last 30 years and engineered to provide exceptional performance.
