Celebrating 40 years since the launch of Snickers, the company introduced its Next Generation of work wear at a fashion show, held at the White Rabbit studio in Shoreditch.
Dancers took the audience through the history of work clothing before unveiling the latest Snicker work trousers. These included Ruff Work heavy duty work trousers, Ruff Work Denim (which as the name suggests are made from that material) and Flexi work featuring stretch fabric and body-mapped design.
The trousers were made following interviews and workshops around Europe with tradespeople, who highlighted what they required from work wear. This was followed by a test period of 400 weeks on site with 50 test pilots in several countries, who tried out more than 200 pairs of trousers.
