MACO are pleased to be associated alongside Coastal Group at W16 Joinery and Furniture Manufacturing Show, 2nd to 5th October 2016 at the NEC, stand Q410 .
MACO and Coastal Group formalised our relationship at the close of 2015, since then Coastal Group has successfully marketed the MACO Tricoat range providing a solutions focused service for the timber sector.
Coastal’s specialist knowledge and understanding of the timber market now sees them showcase many new and exciting products for challenging conditions including corrosive atmospheres and those experienced when fitting hardware to timbers leaching tannins to laminated systems and acetylated wood such as the world’s leading high technology long life wood, Accoya.
MACO Tricoat surface technology has exceeded the industry standards in defence against corrosion, since it was first introduced more than a decade ago. MACO set the benchmark for protecting fittings and has maintained its place at the forefront of technology with the revolutionary Tricoat surface finish, which remains unsurpassed.
Unlike other products, MACO has not relied solely on using existing materials, such as stainless steel, it recognised that every part of the product had to be protected with a coating that is resilient in the most demanding environments. Bi-metallic corrosion and leakage of acid from timber frames are no longer a problem, as the Tricoat finish protects the entire fitting.
In an increasingly chemical-laden environment, MACO Tricoat has such high corrosion resistance that it is the first choice for housing in densely populated areas. The coating not only prevents rusting and corrosion, but the fine particles that make up the outer layer are scratch-resistant and have the added advantage of repelling dirt and water. Damaging elements literally run off the surface, reducing the need for cleaning and prolonging the effective lifespan of the product.
The multi-layered coating protects in the most challenging areas, from industrial sites with chemical emissions, to swimming pools with high levels of chlorine. MACO Tricoat is also an effective solution to environmental damage from sea spray in coastal areas.
Coastal will showcase the MACO R.A.I.L reverse action inline espagnolette for casement windows available in standard and low handle heights, Document Q approved, and MACO Multi Matic Tilt Turn systems all in Tricoat finish for outstanding performance. Coastal are also working in conjunction with MACO to develop an Accoya compatible multi point door lock.
Wherever the best finish is required, the 10-year MACO Protect guarantee ensures lasting results on timber and Accoya. We wish Coastal Group every success at W16.
