Bathroom retailer Bathstore has been listed in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 of private mid-market companies.
Sitting amongst corporate giants including Nando’s and Virgin Active, it was the only bathroom retailer featured on the list.
Welwyn Garden City-based Bathstore delivered sales of £124million last year, recording an 11% year-on-year growth which has resulted in double digit growth for the past four years.
In 2012, Bathstore introduced an installation scheme, accredited by the IKBBi, and more recently has expanded its offer with Home Design, where employees visit a customer’s home to assist with the design and project installation.
All of this has been additional to a store refreshment programme, which has seen the very latest styles being rolled out into its key locations.
An online planner has been introduced onto the company’s website which pulls together looks, formats and styles alongside buyers’ guides that facilitate product understanding and online help.
CEO of Bathstore Gary Favell commented: “In the last few years, we have placed a huge emphasis in growing the business through a number of initiatives to create a broader service offering to meet the demand we know exists within the market.
“By offering a complete bathroom solution both instore and online, along with quality products, training our colleagues to the highest level and offering an exceptional installation service, we know we’re offering the best value and service in the sector. “We’re delighted to have been recognised as one of the fastest-growing businesses in the UK – it’s testament to the hard work, commitment and passion of our colleagues to deliver a best in class service.”
